History

Coffey Consulting, LLC is a Maryland-based, veteran- and minority-owned small business that has grown into a nationally recognized professional services firm. Founded by Lester Coffey in 1986, the company brings 30 years of proven consulting services to private firms, federal and state government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

In 2015, Coffey acquired JBL Associates, Inc., founded in 1985 by John B. Lee, Ed.D. This strategic acquisition brought three decades of research and policy analysis in the postsecondary education community. The seamless integration of its staff and operations enhanced Coffey’s capacity to provide clients expanded expertise and services to develop and evaluate policies and practices through the application of qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques.

Coffey is uniquely positioned to provide a bridge between education and the workforce through its extensive networks. With our clients and partners, we address the pipeline from education to employment.
