Because of its depth and breadth of experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, Coffey provides some specialized services in areas such as quality systems (Baldrige, ISO 9000 and Six Sigma) and performance improvement through customized workshops.

Quality – Baldrige/IOS 9000

U.S. Department of Commerce, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO):  Assisted with all of the activities necessary to develop and provide an overview training course for the Baldrige National Quality Program (BNQP).  A Kickoff Teleconference Meeting was held and a two-day workshop was completed.

Other experience by the Coffey Consulting Team include facilitating and authoring an application for the Maryland Excellence Award based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence – Fusion UV Curing (Gaithersburg, MD); provided Malcolm BNQA overview training to the U.S. Department of Transportation FTA Baldrige Team.  Also provided technical assistance and facilitation for the development of the FTA 2007 Baldrige National Quality Award application submittal; provided Baldrige and TQM overview training to all members of the management team, leading to Racal Communications receiving the Maryland U.S. Senate Productivity Award which is based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
