Acquisition Management

 

For over 15 years, Coffey has provided staff to both the Contracting and Grants Management offices in the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor.  In its GSA MOBIS contract, Coffey has over 15 approved labor categories under SIN 874-6 (Acquisition Management) covering both grant and contract staff.  Positions filled include varying levels of:

Management Assistance to ETA’s Acquisition & Assistance Procurement System (USDOL/ETA/Office of Grants and Contract Management):  Provided management assistance to the Acquisition and Assistance Procurement System; Coffey staff performed a range of professional and administrative tasks needed to support the system.

Office of Grants and Contract Management (USDOL/ETA):  Provided Contract Specialists  who analyzed solicited and competitive proposals; reviewed requisitions and determined appropriate method and type of procurement; prepared and issued solicitation documentation; determined adequacy and completeness of purchase descriptions; performed detailed analysis of proposals; and drafted a variety of procurement documentation.

Office of Grants and Contract Management (USDOL/ETA):  Provided Grant Specialists  who analyzed solicited and competitive grant proposals; reviewed requisitions and determined appropriate method and type of procurement; prepared and issued solicitation documentation; determined adequacy and completeness of purchase descriptions; performed detailed analysis of grant proposals; and drafted a variety of procurement documentation.
